God has richly blessed me this year, as He always does. His faithfulness and perfect timing have never been so evident to me as in these past months. I so look forward to 2012 and all of the things He will teach me and show me. Happy New Year to you and your family!

this summer has been really different for me. instead of days FILLED with photo shoots (like last summer) my days are filled with training. training for the Iron Girl Duathalon that is. thats right, i'm an Iron Girl in training. september 25th, 2011 i will set out to run 2 miles, bike 22 miles and run another 2 miles. somedays i think i'm crazy, especially since i'm following this training schedule six days a week. so needless to say, i'm "permasore" (to steal a word from my dear friend and fellow IG.) so i thought i'd share some shots of how i've been spending my days.
zero calories, lots of electrolytes, awesome when partially frozen :)
i'm hoping i don't get a permanent dent in my hair from wearing these things too much

many hours spent in these
(well, not THESE YET since these are BRAND NEW! But who wants to see a picture of my janky old ones?)
...and of course i've been rewarding myself with plenty of time
relaxing with My Favorite :)

i'll keep you posted on my training

i haven't posted anything new here in a while....mostly because the spring is a busy time for me at school. but this spring i added a new interest to my life, when you see the pictures below, you'll know why i choose to spend time looking at this handsome face rather then through the lens of a camera or at a glowing computer screen :) don't worry, i'll keep posting throughout the summer

he puts up with my impromptu photoshoots.....so i think he's a keeper
chicken verde.....so good!
.....and this is what it looks like when i beat him at UNO

a few years ago a parent donated this huge bag of vintage buttons to our school, i've used them for sorting activities in my first grade classroom, crafts, embellishments to crocheted creations and today.....as a wintery day photo shoot subject...enjoy

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

i can't take full credit for these shots because, as you can see, i'm the model :) this summer i found this vintage head piece in an antique shop up north and for $6, i had to have it.....it's been tucked away until now, a wintery boring day. so my sis and i had a little fun with it...enjoy!

3.27.11           Well, it may not totally feel like spring around here yet, but there are some things to celebrate regardless of the dirty snow piles outside. My older sis' birthday was this week, and she and I are heading into a week of spring break....so we gathered with our other sis, mom, sis-in-law and niece for a tea party lunch, lots of fun and giggles....enjoy! (Notice MJ steals the show a little, even when it isn't her birthday, we like it this way!)
